Call for Nominations - Global Distinction Awards 2026

Dear Sir/Madam,

The International American Council for Research and Development honors highly cited research professionals who demonstrate excellence and dedication to teaching and research in higher education through its prestigious international awards. The awards (Certificate, Medal, & Memento) will be presented on May 31, 2026, in association with the International Summit on Integrated Research and Development. The award program is governed by the Council’s established criteria, standards, regulations, application process, expert committee, and judging procedures.

Global Distinction Awards 2026 is now accepting nominations, which opened on January 01, 2026.

The deadline to submit nominations (online or via email) is May 20, 2026.

Eligibilities:

Universal Best Researcher Award: Applicants for this award must have Ph.D. in any branches of Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences & Engineering. They should have published at least three (3) research papers in refereed National/International journals.

Universal Best Research Scholar Award: Applicants for this award must have registered for his/her Ph.D in any branches of Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences & Engineering. (enclose a copy of the registration).

Universal Best Senior Faculty Award: Applicants for this award must work at Colleges/ Universities are welcome to apply for the Best Senior Faculty Award. They must have at least ten (10) years of teaching experience.

Universal Best Young Faculty Award: Applicants for this award must work at Colleges/ Universities are welcome to apply for the Best Young Faculty Award. They must have at least two (2) years of teaching experience.

Excellence Teaching in Higher Education Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum five (5) years of experience.

Leading Educationist of India Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience and fifteen (15) publications.

Universal Best Director / Principal / Dean Award: Applicants for this award must work as Administration level in Colleges/ Universities are welcome to apply for the Best Director / Principal / Dean Award. They must have at least ten (10) years of teaching experience.

Universal Women Empowerment Award: Applicants for this award must work at Colleges/ Universities are welcome to apply for the Best Women Faculty Award. They must have at least five (5) years of teaching experience.

Award of Excellence in Research: Applicants for this award must have a minimum ten (10) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum ten (10) years of experience and fifty (50) publications.

Universal Life Time Achievement Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum twenty five (25) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum twenty five (25) years of experience and twenty five (25) publications.

Universal Distinguished Professor Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum thirty (30) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum thirty (30) years of experience and thirty (30) publications.

Method of Selection:
The International American Council for Research and Development (IACRD) selects candidates for the prestigious Global Distinction Awards through a rigorous three-tier process designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and recognition of excellence. Initially, discipline-specific expert committees carefully evaluate candidates who apply through the nomination route, independently and without any support from host institutions, assessing their academic, professional, and societal contributions. Based on this evaluation, the Apex Committee reviews the shortlisted candidates and makes recommendations for the awards, considering merit, achievements, and overall impact in their respective fields. These recommendations are then submitted to the IACRD Governing Body, whose decision is final and binding for conferring the awards. The entire process reflects IACRD’s commitment to identifying and honoring truly outstanding achievers, promoting global standards of excellence, and encouraging a culture of innovation, leadership, and social contribution across disciplines.
